“Hasta la Vista ” in Spanish is an acronym for ‘Bye’.
The Anand International College of Engineering Kanota Jaipur gave a grand send off to its passing out batch of young Engineers at the Hasta La Vista, who bid a final farewell to their college for four years. There was a festive spirit in the air when the students of the 3rd Semester rolled out the red carpet to their seniors all decked up in ethnic wear.
The night sky was filled with crackers and confetti and jubilating voices as the youngsters walked up to the farewell function in the sprawling lawns of the college towards the “AakhriPag”.The organizers of the show Sandeep Jaiman and Riddhi Bharadwaj gave the show the perfect blend of glamour and humor with Anchal Sharma and Sandeep at the Mic in super verbal harmony.
The outgoing students were given college diaries as mementos whichwas followed by cultural performances by the students in Solo Singing and Solo Dances and memoirs of the times spent with friends.The Best Academic Performer and The Best Dressed student and also the Most Regular student were awarded. There were some fabulous Indian and western dances and a superb blend of the East Meeting the West in Music. It was an exotic evening.
The Chairman Shri Manoj Mittal asked the students to remain in touch with the college assuring them of complete cooperation and back up at all times. He also asserted that the prodigies of this institution were like his own children and they can be assured of solid support if at some point the going gets tough. Mr. Mittal also urged the students to work hard and preserve.
Charu Bharat and Saad , Final Year students were named as Campus Ambassadors while Karishma and Shamsher were “Students of The Year”.
The Evening concluded with Dinner and lots of gratitude to the faculties from the students.
