Information for authors


PREPARATION

Manuscripts should be written in English and preferably using the LATEX style provided here:

On acceptance of the paper, authors will be asked to send file(s) by e-mail to the Editorial Office.
All papers should include:

  1. Basic information: Authors should include the title of the article, running headless than 60 characters, author's name (no degrees), author's affiliation, e-mail addresses, and mailing address(es).
  2. Abstract: The manuscript must be accompanied by a brief abstract, no longer than 100-150 words. It should make minimal use of mathematical symbols and displayed formulae.
  3. Keywords:List of 4-5 keywords must be given. When choosing consider search engine optimization to make your article more visible once published.
  4. Subject Classification:Mathematics Subject Classification (2010) with primary (and secondary) subject classification codes
  5. Figures:should be prepared in a digital form suitable for direct reproduction, greyscale only, preferably at the resolution of 300 dpi or higher, sized to fit a journal page, and in EPS, TIFF or JPEG format. Figures should have a short descriptive title and should be numbered consecutively in the order of appearance in the text. The position of each figure in the text should be indicated.
  6. Tables:should have a short descriptive title and should be numbered consecutively in the order of appearance in the text.
  7. Each page:of the manuscript should be numbered.
  8. Bibliographic references:should be listed alphabetically and in numerical order at the end of the article, each numbered by an Arabic number between square brackets. The following information should be provided for references to journals: names of authors, the full title of the article, abbreviated name of the journal, volume, year of publication, and range of page numbers. For standard abbreviations of journal names, the authors should consult the latest Abbreviations of Names and Serials reviewed in Mathematical Reviews.

Ethical guidelines for authors

  • The manuscript should be submitted to one journal only.
  • The manuscript should be an entirely original work, written by authors, not been published previously unless the work is an expansion of previous work.
  • Single research should not be split into several parts to increase the number of submissions.
  • Conclusions and data should be accurately presented, not fabricated or falsely interpreted.
  • No text, data, or theories should be falsely presented as the author's own.
  • The use of others' work should be properly acknowledged. For copyrighted material rights should be ensured.
  • Authors are obliged to immediately report any errors found in their work.
  • The only author who has significantly contributed to the scientific work should be share responsible and accountable for the results. Authors are strongly advised to provide the correct author group and order of authors. Changes in authorship can only be made before the manuscript has been accepted and only if approved by the journal editor(s) upon written request with a detailed explanation for asking for the change. Also, further, documentation may be required.
  • Originality and Plagiarism:The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, that this has been appropriately cited or quoted.
    Note: Journal follows the UGC Guidelines for checking the plagiarism in the articles.

SUBMISSION

Manuscripts should be submitted via email in Adobe Acrobat PDF format to the (acmm@anandice.ac.in) to the Editor in Chief of the Journal.

AFTER SUBMISSION

Peer review
ACMM journal maintains the highest standards of peer review while increasing the efficiency of the process. All research articles published in the ACMM journal undergo full peer review, key characteristics of which are listed below.

  • All research articles submitted will be fully peer-reviewed by appropriately qualified experts in the field in a single-blind process.
  • All publication decisions are made by the journals’ Editors-in-Chief on the basis of the reviews provided.
  • Members of the international Editorial Boards lend insight, advice, and guidance to the Editors-in-Chief generally and assist decision-making on specific submissions.
  • Managing Editors and Associate Editors provide the administrative support that allows ACMM journal to maintain the integrity of peer review while delivering rapid turnaround and maximum efficiency to authors, reviewers, and editors alike.
  • ACMM journal additionally benefits through the manuscript referral process from the high-quality peer review conducted by established journals.

Peer review of submissions:Articles submitted to the ACMM journal will be fully peer-reviewed by at least two appropriately qualified experts in the field. The Editor-in-Chief and a designated member of the Editorial Board will then decide whether to accept, reject or request revisions based on the reviews and comments received. Editors will decide whether each submission reports well-conducted research with conclusions supported by the data presented in the paper.

Peer review of referred papers:Editors of ACMM journal will decide promptly whether to accept, reject, or request revisions of referred papers based on the reviews and editorial insight of the supporting journals. In addition, Editors will have the option of seeking additional reviews when needed. Authors will be advised when Editors decide further review is needed.

Guidelines for Peer review

  • Respect the time frame given, inform the journal if they need an extension
  • Accept the task only if their expertise covers the relevant subject area, notify the journal if their expertise does not cover all aspects of the manuscript
  • Notify the journal of any potential conflict of interest that could affect the objectivity of their review
  • Consider journal's criteria for evaluation and always review afresh any manuscript even if they previously reviewed it
  • Give suggestions for alternative reviewers
  • Not agree to review the manuscript without the intention of submitting a review
  • Decline if they are unable to provide an unbiased, fair review
  • Decline if they are involved in any work in the manuscript
  • Decline if they have work very similar under preparation or consideration
  • Comply with journal's review policies
  • Not involve anyone else in the reviewing process without the permission of the journal
  • Keep all details about the process confidential
  • Notify the journal immediately if they find any (ethical) irregularities in the work and seek further instruction from the journal
  • Not contact the authors directly without the permission of the journal
  • Give objective and constructive review about strengths and weaknesses of the work based on their expertise of the subject area and their fair and unbiased judgment
  • Be objective, constructive, and specific in their criticism
  • Write feedback appropriately with due respect, do not make derogatory and negative comments of authors' or others' work
  • Mind the language issues and sensitivities due to authors not writing in their own language; report respectively
  • Comments and recommendations for the editor should be consistent with the report for the authors
  • Confidential comments are to be written respectively of the author and his work
  • Suggestion for including citations should be based on academic reason; not used to increase your own or associates citation count
  • Editor handling the review should not disguise it as an anonymous review
  • Respond to journal requests to review revisions or resubmissions of the manuscript

AFTER ACCEPTANCE

  1. Proofs
    Authors should include the title of the article, running headless than 60 characters, author's name (no degrees), author's affiliation, e-mail addresses, and mailing address(es).
  2. Offprints
    Authors will receive a PDF file of the printed article free of charge. Additional offprints may be ordered from prior to publication.
  3. Sharing and promoting
    The article will be published online after receipt of the corrected proofs. This is the official first publication citable with the DOI. After the release of the printed version, the paper can also be cited by issue and page numbers. Sharing your paper is an important part of publishing.
    Sharing research helps you get more visibility in your field, get cited more, and move forward in your career. We encourage our author to promote it and make a bigger impact with your research. When writing your paper please pay attention to keywords, they are important for search engine optimization, and concisely written keywords can help make your paper more visible and easily discoverable. Share your work online with an audience that will take interest in your research.
  4. Copyright
    Authors transfer copyright to the publisher as part of a journal publishing agreement but have the right to:
    • Authors are advised to submit duly signed Copyright Form with the articles.
    • Share their article for personal use, internal institutional use, and scholarly sharing purposes, with the ACMM logo and DOI link.
    • Retain patent, trademark and other intellectual property rights (including research data).
    • Proper attribution and credit for the published work.
