Center of Excellence in Material Science

About

Materials play a key role in all industrial branches and are of high economic relevance. The role of materials in the advancement of science and technology that have changed societies around the globe cannot be ignored. With this view it is Our Great Pleasure to welcome you to the Center of Excellence for Material Engineering (CEME). The establishment of CEME under the Department of Mechanical Engineering is based on a past successful materials research work already present at AICE. The laboratory has been recognized as Center of Excellence for Material Engineering (CEME) in 2021 by Rajasthan Technical University, KOTA.

Materials is a field that is both vast in scope and extreme in depth, and this sustains an extremely fertile arena for university research, education, economic development in the field of sciences, engineering, and is rapidly moving into medicine and agriculture.Materials research has also generated countless advances in areas such as electronics, information technologies, automotive and aerospace transportation, biomaterials.

The aim of the center is to assemble the efforts, integrate People and promote interdisciplinary research. It provides a platform for the researchers and students of Mechanical Engineering department to share their knowledge and explore more in material engineering. The center also helps the post graduate and Ph.D. students of other universities and colleges in their research activities and also helps them to acquire guidance from the expert.

Vision

“To strive towards solving problems related to material development, characterization & modification and deliver innovative materials for technology solutions.”
