The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) at Anand International College of Engineering, Jaipur, is a dynamic hub fostering innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit among students and faculty. One Day Workshop on Expert Talk on TRL, MRL, IRL, IP Commercialization & Technology Transfer (31 January 2026): Er. Prashant Kumar delivered a detailed session on Technology Readiness Levels (TRL), Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRL), Investment Readiness Levels (IRL), and the process of intellectual property commercialization and technology transfer. Students gained insight into transforming research outcomes into market-ready products.

One Day Workshop on AI & Innovation Sprints: Rapid Prototyping for Digital Transformation (24 January 2026): Dr. Bhavana Mathur and Er. Dharmendra Choudhary guided students through rapid prototyping techniques and the use of artificial intelligence in solving real-world problems. Participants learned to convert ideas into functional prototypes and validate them quickly.

One Day Workshop on Effective Sales and Marketing Strategies for Start-ups (17 January 2026): Er. Ambujey Sanjay, Manager – Data Engineering and AI at Deloitte Asia Pacific, delivered a session on branding, customer acquisition, market positioning, digital marketing, and growth strategies. The workshop helped students understand how startups can scale and reach their target audience effectively.

Ideathon on Sustainable Solutions for Environmental Problems (29 November 2025): Students participated in an ideathon focused on environmental sustainability. Teams proposed innovative solutions related to waste management, pollution control, water conservation, and renewable energy. The activity encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration and social impact-oriented innovation.

Achieving Problem–Solution Fit (25 November 2025): Dr. Nirmalya Chowdhury, Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering, delivered a workshop on identifying real-world problems and validating effective solutions. The session focused on customer pain points, market validation, and iterative improvement—critical steps in building sustainable startups.

IPR Basics for Innovators & Entrepreneurs (24 November 2025): Er. Prashant Kumar conducted an expert session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The workshop covered patents, copyrights, trademarks, design protection, and filing procedures. Students learned how to protect their innovations and understand the commercial value of intellectual property.

Motivational Session by Successful Innovators & Entrepreneurs (20 November 2025): Mr. Jatin Sharma, Founder of MIKEY GLOBAL and an alumnus of the institution, delivered a motivational talk. He shared his entrepreneurial journey, challenges faced during startup development, and practical advice on turning ideas into successful ventures. Students gained inspiration and valuable insights from his experience.

One Day Awareness Workshop on Entrepreneurship & Innovation as Career Opportunities (18 November 2025): An awareness workshop was conducted by Er. Prashant Kumar, Innovation Ambassador and Coordinator, IEDC. The session introduced students to entrepreneurship as a viable career path and discussed innovation-driven problem solving, startup opportunities, government support schemes, and the role of IIC in promoting innovation.

Designathon – Inter-College Ideathon (30 August 2025): Designathon – Inter-College Ideathon was one of the flagship innovation events organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) at Anand International College of Engineering, Jaipur. Conducted on 30 August 2025, the event brought together students from multiple colleges and diverse academic disciplines to solve real-world challenges through design thinking, creativity, and structured ideation.
The objective of the event was to create a collaborative platform where participants could identify pressing societal and industrial problems, empathize with end users, generate innovative concepts, and present feasible solutions with strong practical impact. Students worked in interdisciplinary teams, combining technical knowledge, business understanding, and creative problem-solving skills.

Anand-Ideathon 2026 – Think for Better Society (27 March 2026): Anand-Ideathon 2026 invited students to propose innovative solutions for societal challenges. The event featured team-based idea pitching, expert evaluation, attractive prizes, and e-certificates. It served as a flagship platform to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial action.

Internal Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 Screening Round (26
September 2025): The Internal Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 Screening Round was conducted to shortlist the most promising student teams for participation in the national Smart India Hackathon. Teams presented their ideas before expert evaluators and received feedback on innovation,
technical feasibility, and impact.

Regional Meet 2025 – Institutional Innovation & Startup Ecosystem Highlights: Anand-ICE presented its innovation ecosystem achievements during IIC Regional Meet 2025. The presentation highlighted trained innovation ambassadors, functional IPR and Technology Transfer support, pre-incubation facilities, idea and prototype repositories, business model scouting, and patent filings. The event showcased the college’s commitment to nurturing student-led innovation and entrepreneurship.

INTRA INSTITUTIONAL BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION: Anand-ICE organized an ‘Intra institutional Business plan competition’ for the students on 25th April 2024 so as to evaluate the various ideas submitted to check their feasibility.

IMPACT LECTURE SESSION: Besides the activities under IIC calendar, the IEDC has also conducted two Impact lectures under IIC funded by MIC.
