PlayWithCode Hackathon Guidelines
ELIGIBILITY
The “PlayWithCode”, is a National Level Coding Hackathon, open to school students from classes 9th to 12th across the country, from any school and any board.
COMPETITION RULES
➤PlayWithCode Hackathon will be held on the online coding platform HackerRank.
➤Create a Gmail Id for registration on Google Form and HackerRank. If you already have one, then use it.
➤After the registration on the Google Form, the Candidate needs to register on HackerRank. Use the below-mentioned URL for this.

Note: Use the same Gmail id at both the places.
➤Upon successful registration, on the HackerRank platform, a username will be assigned to you which is a short description of yours’s. Kindly send that username along with your Name and School Name to the following email: playwithcode@anandice.ac.in
➤Each given problem in the Hackathon has a pre-determined score and can be solved by selecting from a number of language options available like C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
➤The participant’s score depends on the number of test cases the participant’s code submission successfully passes.
➤If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved.
➤Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie will be broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score.
➤For a better experience with the HackerRank coding platform, you can practice there before the contest starts. Use your registration details for the sign-in.
➤It is suggested to use a laptop or desktop with good internet speed for coding. Avoid using mobile phones as it will consume a lot of time to write codes.
➤In case of any query/confusion, kindly give a call to the coordinators.
➤On July 31, 2020, authentic registered students ( who have already completed the registration process and provided the user name ) will get a link on their respective mail-ids, which will take them to the coding environment where they may log in by entering their respective username and password.
➤The timer will be started at 11:00 am for a 90-minute session, where given puzzles are to be solved. The competition will be held online and students can attempt sitting on their location.
➤The judgment will be automated and the event will be observed online by senior software analyst from IBM India and Sapient India. The automated judgment will be final and the judgment will be announced in a webinar conducted by the technical panel.
