One-Week AICTE ATAL Faculty Development Program Held at Anand-ICE
Anand International College of Engineering, Jaipur successfully organized a one-week online ATAL Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Recent Trends in Biological Systems for Sustainable Development,” under the financial support of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The virtual inaugural ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Prof. V.P. Saxena (Former Vice-Chancellor, Jiwaji University, Gwalior), Vice Chairperson Ms. Monika Mittal Agrawal, Principal Prof. Vijay K. Sharma and Vice-Principal and FDP Coordinator Prof. Praveen Agrawal. The event commenced with a traditional Saraswati Vandana. Prof. Saxena emphasized the importance of such programs for faculty members, highlighting their role in academic and technological advancements. Vice Chairperson Ms. Monika Mittal Agrawal stated that the FDP aimed to expand knowledge of engineering applications in the field of biological systems and recent innovations. FDP Coordinator Prof. Praveen Agrawal shared that 11 expert speakers including Dr. Hemchandra Jha, Dr. Jagdish Bansal, Dr. Dinesh Jangid, Dr. Ali Yaqoob, Dr. Riru Agrawal, Dr. Shipi Jain, Dr. Rishi Agrawal, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, and Dr. Sanjay Rawat from India and abroad delivered insightful sessions on biological systems by using AI and mathematical modeling approaches. In the valedictory ceremony Prof. Kanhaiya Jha, Professor, Kathmandu University, Nepal, joined as Chief Guest and in the last FDP Co-Coordinator Dr. Prakash Singh summarized the participant feedback in which highlighted the program’s positive impact on academic and research collaborations, foreseeing new avenues in higher education and research. The event proved to be a significant step towards fostering innovation and interdisciplinary learning in biological system applications.
