06-Day DST Rajasthan Sponsored Workshop conducted at Anand-ICE

A six-day hybrid workshop on the topic “Recent Trends in Mathematical Modeling of Biological Systems for Sustainable Development with Hands-on Training by using MATLAB” was organized at Anand International College of Engineering, sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Rajasthan. The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Sunil Luthra, Director, Training & Learning Bureau, AICTE, New Delhi, along with Anand-ICE’s Vice Chairperson Monika Mittal Agarwal, Principal Prof. Vijay K. Sharma, and Vice-Principal & Workshop Coordinator Prof. Praveen Agarwal with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Chief Guest Dr. Sunil Luthra emphasized the academic and research importance of such workshops for all faculty members. Vice Chairperson Monika Mittal Agarwal mentioned that the objective of this workshop was to explore recent innovations in the application of engineering to biological systems. Workshop Coordinator Prof. Praveen Agarwal informed that 11 subject experts from reputed technical institutes across the country, including IITs, NITs, HPU, and RTU, shared their lectures on the application of MATLAB in biological systems and mathematical modeling. Distinguished speakers included Dr. Hemchandra Jha, Dr. Syed Abbas, Dr. Ram Singh, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sharma, Dr. Shilpi Jain, Dr. Gaurav Kumar Bharti, Dr. Deepak Bhatia, Dr. Neetu Dheeman, Dr. Meher Chand and others. Participants from academic institutions across the globe shared their experiences and noted that such workshops encourage collaboration in research and project work, offering new dimensions in higher education and research.
