OBJECTIVES OF THE FDP
Machine Learning (ML) and IoT play a significant role in the modern engineering and information processing systems. It is a rapidly growing field. Machine Learning is an essential part of pattern recognition, object detection and classification, clustering, data mining, and speech recognition, etc. In addition, IoT, is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers. The ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction and has an important significance over machine learning in the application of smart city.
IoT and Machine Learning are creating a plethora of possibilities for businesses to get more efficient, helping them leverage valuable data for analysis and turning dumb devices to intelligent machines.
The aim of this FDP is to provide an exposure to both basics and recent advances in Machine Learning and IoT to the teaching and research community associated with the departments of Computer Science & IT, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering
