The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) at Anand International College of Engineering, Jaipur, is a dynamic hub fostering innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit among students and faculty. Established with the vision to nurture a culture of entrepreneurship, the IEDC provides a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to ideate, innovate, and implement their ideas into viable business ventures.

Our Collaborations:

• Institution’s Innovation Cell (IIC): The IEDC has collaboration with IIC under the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (Government of India) and AICTE. The Anand International College of Engineering is a registered Institute under the Institutions’ Innovation Council with IIC-ID: IC202013785. This collaboration helps in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty members.
• MSME Innovative Scheme: Anand International College of Engineering is a registered Host Institute for incubation schemes under the MSME Innovative Scheme providing additional support to budding entrepreneurs.
• Indra Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi: For getting support and supervision to build the eco-system of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Anand-ICE is working under the mentorship of Indra Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi (IGNOU) Mentor-Mentee Scheme of the MOE’s Innovation Cell (MIC).

1. INTRA INSTITUTIONAL BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION: Anand-ICE organized an ‘Intra institutional Business plan competition’ for the students on 25th April 2024 so as to evaluate the various ideas submitted to check their feasibility.

Events Participated:

The students of Anand-ICE actively participate in the innovation and entrepreneurship related events fostering a vibrant community of innovators and future entrepreneurs. Below mentioned are few events under Self-Driven Categories of Institutions’ Innovation Council (IIC), where Anandites recently participated and got recognition:

1. UDBHAV 2023: A Project competition, conducted at Poornima Institute of Engineering & Technology on 21 Sep 2023, where a team of Anand-ICE won the 1st prize in hardware category for project Drone.
2. IIC MEET & YUKTI INNOVATION CHALLENGE: Anandites participated in Yukti innovation challenge held at Amity University on 4th Jan 2024 and got appreciation for their projects.
3. NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY: Anandites participated in Innovative project competition in Rajasthan Vigyan Mahotsav held at Regional Science Centre and Science Park, Shastri Nagar, Jaipur on National Science Day from 27-28 Feb 2024.
4. RAJASTHAN POLICE HACKATHON: Anandites participated in Rajasthan Police Hackathon held on 17-18 Jan 2024 at Rajasthan International Centre, Jaipur. Their project namely ‘Radio Controlled Car for Law Enforcement and Drone’ were selected after going through various stages of selection.
5. SHANKARA GLOBAL HACKATHON: Anandites also participated in Shankara Global Hackathon held at Shankara Group of Institutions on 1-2nd March.
6. PROJECT EXPO 2024: Anand-ICE team participated in Project Expo 2024 held at SKIT, Jaipur on 7th march 2024 and got special attraction prize for their Robotic project.
7. HACKFEST 2024: The students participated in Hackfest 2024 sponsored by SAP, held at Poornima University Jaipur on 10th may. The project idea titled “Solar Purifier” was listed under top ten selected teams at regional level.
