On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Anand-ICE organized a one-day special session on the topic “Financial Independence Has No Gender.” The event was organized in collaboration with Young Indians (Yi), an initiative of the Confederation of Indian Industry. Keynote speaker Shiva Gaur, Corporate Legal Advisor, Mentor, Investor, and Founder of Swachhathon Run, highlighted the importance of financial literacy for students and faculty members, stating that being financially independent is essential for self- confidence, identity, and a secure future. She also discussed women’s economic empowerment and the role of male support. She also addressed the challenges faced by women working in male-dominated fields and encouraged students to invest in themselves from the beginning of their careers and speak confidently. The event was attended by College Principal Prof. Vijay Kumar Sharma and Vice Principal Prof. Praveen Agarwal, along with all faculty members and over 200 students. College Vice-Chairperson Monika Mittal Agarwal appreciated the inspiring and informative session by the keynote speaker Shiva Gaur and motivated the students to become financially aware and self-reliant.
