MrPushpendra Singh (ACP-Bassi) and MrGauri Shankar (SHO-Kanota) were the Chief Guests of the event who were welcomed by the Chairman, MrManoj Mittal and the Vice Chairperson, Ms Monika Mittal.
During the Marathon, facilities like drinking water, first-aid, and ambulance were taken care of. Student volunteers on bikes ensured that the rules of the race were followed properly and also motivated the runners. Top 3 runners among the students as well as faculty-staff were awarded with medals and prizes. Dressed-up in Anand Tracksuits, all students, faculty-staff members filled the environment with enthusiasm and energy.
Following the Marathon, the Sports Meet kick-started with March Past by all the five schools. During the meet, 100, 200, 400, 800 m race, hurdle race, football, volleyball, throwball, basketball, kabaddi, table tennis, carom, squash and various other indoor & outdoor games were organized. The main attraction remained the Cycle Race among faculty & staff members.
