In commemoration of the 14th death anniversary of Late Shri Anand Shankar Mittal, the founder of Anand International College of Engineering, a blood donation and free health checkup camp was organized under the aegis of Anand Activity Centre. The college organized a blood donation camp and free health check-up camp in association with Santokba Memorial Medical Research Institute. Vice-Chairperson Ms. Monika Mittal Agrawal, Principal Prof. Vijay Sharma, Vice-Principal Prof. Praveen Agrawal, faculty and staff paid floral tributes to Shri Anand Shankar Mittal. The camp began thereafter. As many as 145 units of blood were donated by the students, faculty and staff of the institution. In the blood donation camp, students and villagers were made aware of social work and illusions regarding blood donation. The villagers were told through the camp that donating blood can save a needy person’s life. The blood donation and health screening program attracted over a thousand students and residents.
