The Department of School Education and Literacy, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & Ministry of Education Innovation Cell (MIC) is organising a “Three-day Regional Mentoring Session on Innovation for teachers & students of PM SHRI Schools from 16th to 18th April 2026” at our nodal centre Anand International College of Engineering, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The objective of this workshop is to nurture ideation, design thinking, out-of-the-box thinking, problem identification & solution-oriented skills among teachers & students of PM SHRI (secondary and senior secondary) schools who have participated in the Innovation Contest.
The RMS is being organized in collaboration with the Wadhwani Foundation, renowned for its support of entrepreneurship education.
The State Level Inauguration at Anand International College of Engineering was inaugurated by the Dignitaries name and department along with senior officials from the HEIs and over 200 + teachers & students participated.
The programme includes hands-on design activities and exposure visits, enabling participants to experience the complete innovation lifecycle—from idea generation and prototype/product development to patenting and product realisation.
On the final day of the sessions, student innovators pitch ideas, after which potential innovations may receive financial support up to ₹1.5 lakh for prototype/product/solution development under the School Innovation Contest, and ₹34,100 per school for patent filing under the Kalam Program for Intellectual Property Awareness (KAPILA).
