Under the sponsorship of Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, Anand International College of Engineering organized a two-day inter-collegiate Throwball and Kabaddi competition on its campus. Saraswati Vandana and lamp lighting marked the start of the program. Amidst the cheers and cheers of the audience, the teams that reached the final had a tough competition. Chief guest Rakesh Dubey, Assistant Director Physical Education RTU, Kota, Special Guest MM Ansari, Trainer Physical Education RTU, Kota and Vice Chairperson Monika Mittal Agrawal presided over the function. Teams from more than 10 colleges of the state including Jaipur affiliated to Technical University participated in the tournament. The Chief Guest in his address appreciated the campus of Anand College and the management for the successful conduct of the tournament and said that Anand College will always get an opportunity to represent in such tournaments in the times to come.
The team of Poornima College of Engineering won the boys' throw ball tournament and the team of Anand International College of Engineering won the girls’ throw ball tournament. At the same time, the team of SKIT in the Boys Kabaddi Tournament and the team of Poornima College of Engineering in the Girls Kabaddi Tournament won the title. The performance of both teams in the tournament was impressive.
The guests gave away the prizes and certificates to the winners. Principal of Prof. Vijay Kumar Sharma, Vice-Principal and Tournament Coordinator Prof. Praveen Agarwal, Dharmendra Chaudhary-Coordinator and Mohnish Rajora- Sports Officer along with PTIs and students from other colleges were present during the tournament.
