This has been an unprecedented situation that none of us could have gauged. It hit us so fast that nobody around the globe could cope with its effects. The coronavirus is a highly contagious mutant virus that has hit people globally and has paralyzed life across the world.

Nevertheless, life has to go on. Our institutions will now play an even more important role in creating technology for all of us to live an altered lifestyle.

Anand-ICE has now incorporated a new system called “ASFC 19 Initiative” (Anand Safe from COVID- 19 initiative). This is now a standard operating procedure for all students and staff.

This procedure includes some notable changes in teaching-learning activities and some critical changes in campus life.

Tuition Fee Waiver for Students losing their Sole Earning Parent to Covid-19

The pandemic has been devastating to the globe at large. The destruction of resources and businesses has been fatal for the economies not to mention the effect it has had on the survival of people.We have been a witness to this unforgiving loss of life to the earning members of families and we understand how difficult it must be for their dependents.

The Management of the Anand International College of Engineering has decided to roll out a 100% waiver on the tuition fee of the student who has lost the sole bread earner of the family to Covid-19 for the remaining duration of his/her study at Anand-ICE. We stand by our students during these difficult times and believe that there should not be any loss to their studies due to this pandemic.

Teaching & Learning during the Pandemic

Seeing the criticality of the situation and that it may take some time to fade out, we will maintain the decorum of distancing by all means. However, learning cannot halt. Anand-ICE has designed various innovative academic systems and trying its best to ensure seamless online learning for the students.

1. Online classes via Microsoft Teams are being conducted for the students. This will make sure that the students don’t lose out on their academic curriculum at any cost.
2. More than fifteen well-equipped studios are set up in the campus for the purpose of online teaching including digital smart boards which are specially incorporated so that the students have a real-time blackboard teaching-learning experience
3. Labs are also being conducted virtually including live video demonstrations by faculties giving the students virtual practical learning experience.
4. Our students have done their online internship from some of the world’s most renowned universities sitting right at home and getting certified. This will be a great advantage to them during placements.
5. All Teaching and Training activity now includes the latest information and warnings on COVID- 19, so that the students are always updated with the latest on this viral threat.
6. Campus placement preparation for the students including Group Discussions, Personal Interviews, and Technical Interviews is also being conducted in the virtual mode by our expert trainers.
7. Our yearly internship program will now go online again until such time as things don’t become absolutely normal. We have arranged with industry to carry out virtual and customized industrial training for the students online. This would enable our students to acquire industrial skills without taking the risk of moving out as of now.

1. An errorless system of social distancing is maintained within the institution.
2. Sanitization chamber and machines are installed at critical points on the entire campus.
3. Thermal screening at entry points.
4. The campus is 100% sanitized on a daily basis adhering to complete safety norms. Stationary and building assets will be sanitized for as long as the COVID -19 threat looms over us.
5. Masks are compulsory for all personnel on the campus including students, faculties, staff, and visitors.

Note: Though classes for students are being conducted virtually, students are open to visit the campus for issuing of books from the college library or for any technical support or guidance from faculties only after prior approval from the respective Batch Counselors and Head of the School. The students visiting the campus must take proper precautions as mentioned above and as prescribed by the government.
