CONCOURS- a school-level project competition is organized by Anand-ICE to provide a platform for young students to learn, innovate and showcase their skills and knowledge. The themes of the competition include Technology for Sustainable Future, Science for Nation Building, Sustainable Waste Management, Solution for Social Problems and Chemistry in Daily Life. A large number of students come forward to explore innovation in science & technology through this project competition. To encourage the students with the most innovative and creative idea, cash prizes of more than Rs 2 lacs are awarded.
Schoolympics
An inter-school sports competition- SCHOOLYMPICSis organized to create enthusiasm & competition among students in sports and to make their body & mind healthy. The initiative of the Schoolympics is also to motivate the students to make sports a part of their lives. This mega event includes football, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, table tennis, squash, and various athletic competitions. Great enthusiasm is seen during the event, as a lot of schools with their athletes participate in the matches. This initiative is a step forward for promoting the thought of “KheloIndia”& “Fit India”.
Female Hygiene
Anand-ICE in association with Vasudha Jan VikasSansthan took a significant step towards female hygiene by creating a sanitary napkin bank for the village girls of Thanagazi, Alwar. This step was taken to create awareness among rural women about their health and safety.
